You will need to set up an account on our website or download the Local B Studio app in your app store, to pre-register for classes. We highly recommend pre-registering for all classes, as they may be filled when you arrive. It is important to us that we are able to accommodate all clients, so this pre-registration will help both you and the instructor prepare.
Downloading the Local B Studio app on your phone gives you the easiest and most efficient access to the Local B class of your choice.
If you are a first timer and you need some assistance getting set up, call the studio and we will hold your spot and help you get set up with the online registration process. You will need to show up at least 10 minutes before class in order to get registered, as well as sign our waivers.

Barre is a low impact workout that incorporates elements of pilates, yoga, ballet, and weight training. Our brand of barre is more of a fitness class than it is based on dance. We concentrate on tiny movements over all muscle groups to fatigue the muscles and build endurance. These classes are great for any level of fitness. We have three different types of barre classes, so please make sure to read each of their descriptions to know what suits you best.

If you are new, please come 10 minutes before class begins to make sure you are registered. We will show you around the studio and get to know you a little before class starts!
Please let us know any injuries you have or have had in the past, so that we know how to make the appropriate modifications during your workout.

Starting class late can be disruptive both for your own workout and for others around you. Our instructors design each class to build from the very beginning, and those opening minutes are key for warming up safely and setting the tone.
To help keep classes running smoothly:
• Please plan to arrive at least 5–10 minutes early to check in and settle.
• If you anticipate being late, we kindly ask that you reschedule for another time where you can show up for the start.
The door will be locked at the scheduled start time of class and you will not be permitted in. If you are not in class for the start- a no show fee will be applied for missing class.
We truly appreciate your cooperation in keeping our studio a welcoming, focused space for everyone. Thank you for respecting your fellow members and your instructors.

We understand there are things out our control and sometimes, you need to leave a minute or two early. However, we respectfully ask that if you know you are unable to stay for the entirety of the class, please consider going to another class where you are able to stay the full time. If there is a rare occasion where you need to leave one minute early- let the instructor know at the beginning of class, choose a mat near the back corner to eliminate distractions, leave equipment where it is, and exit quietly. Stretch is equally as important as the workout and without it, it can cause injuries. We always want to make sure the end of class is distraction free and enjoyable for all patrons.
